About
Read AI turns each Zoom, Teams or Google Meet call, or an in-person meeting recorded on its mobile app, into a report: the speaker-labelled transcript, a summary and chapter summaries, action items, key questions, topics and meeting metrics. Those reports can be listed by date and pulled into a thread, so a question about a company can draw on the calls you have had about it. It can also send the Read bot into a meeting for you.
The server is in open beta and on every plan. Free records five meetings a month of up to an hour each. Your workspace needs Downloads turned on, and you see only reports you can already open.

Frequently asked questions
- What is a Connector?
- A Connector is a remote MCP server that a third party runs and Marvin Labs knows how to reach. Marvin Labs supplies the endpoint and the setup; you bring your own Read AI account. Once added, AI Analyst Chat and Deep Research Agents call its tools when a question needs them, and the answer shows which tool was called and what it returned.
- Does the Read AI Connector require authentication?
- Yes. Adding Read AI opens its sign-in window, where you approve access with your own Read AI account. Marvin Labs never sees your password; Read AI issues a token you can revoke on its side at any time.
- Does Read AI change how financial data is sourced?
- No. When a question can be answered from the filings, earnings calls, and press releases Marvin Labs ingests through Automated Data Import, it answers from those. Read AI is used only when a question needs data those documents do not carry, and the answer attributes that output to it.
- Where is Read AI available?
- In both AI Analyst Chat and Deep Research Agents. Its tools stay out of the model's context until a request needs one, so an unused Connector takes up no context window.
