About
Fathom records Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams calls, with a bot or, in beta on the Mac, without one, and writes a summary and action items for each. Connecting brings those summaries, the full transcripts and the action items into a thread, limited to meetings you can already see in Fathom.
It works on every Fathom plan, including the free one. How far back a search across your team's calls reaches depends on the tier; Premium is $16 a month billed annually.
Click Add and sign in when Fathom's window opens. No API key is involved.

Frequently asked questions
- What is a Connector?
- A Connector is a remote MCP server that a third party runs and Marvin Labs knows how to reach. Marvin Labs supplies the endpoint and the setup; you bring your own Fathom account. Once added, AI Analyst Chat and Deep Research Agents call its tools when a question needs them, and the answer shows which tool was called and what it returned.
- Does the Fathom Connector require authentication?
- Yes. Adding Fathom opens its sign-in window, where you approve access with your own Fathom account. Marvin Labs never sees your password; Fathom issues a token you can revoke on its side at any time.
- Does Fathom change how financial data is sourced?
- No. When a question can be answered from the filings, earnings calls, and press releases Marvin Labs ingests through Automated Data Import, it answers from those. Fathom is used only when a question needs data those documents do not carry, and the answer attributes that output to it.
- Where is Fathom available?
- In both AI Analyst Chat and Deep Research Agents. Its tools stay out of the model's context until a request needs one, so an unused Connector takes up no context window.
