About
Granola holds the notes and transcripts of meetings you took with it: notes you own, notes shared with you and your workspace's public notes, with screenshots of anything shared on screen. It listens through your device's audio instead of sending a bot into the call, so a management meeting, an expert call or a channel check you sat in on can be quoted beside the filings.
What you reach depends on the plan. Basic, which is free, covers your own notes from the last 30 days and no transcripts. Business, at $14 a user a month, opens full history and transcripts. On Enterprise an admin has to switch MCP on first. Notes from other Granola workspaces are never included.
Click Add and sign in when Granola's window opens. There is no API key to find.

- What is a Connector?
- A Connector is a remote MCP server that a third party runs and Marvin Labs knows how to reach. Marvin Labs supplies the endpoint and the setup; you bring your own Granola account. Once added, AI Analyst Chat and Deep Research Agents call its tools when a question needs them, and the answer shows which tool was called and what it returned.
- Does the Granola Connector require authentication?
- Yes. Adding Granola opens its sign-in window, where you approve access with your own Granola account. Marvin Labs never sees your password; Granola issues a token you can revoke on its side at any time.
- Does Granola change how financial data is sourced?
- No. When a question can be answered from the filings, earnings calls, and press releases Marvin Labs ingests through Automated Data Import, it answers from those. Granola is used only when a question needs data those documents do not carry, and the answer attributes that output to it.
- Where is Granola available?
- In both AI Analyst Chat and Deep Research Agents. Its tools stay out of the model's context until a request needs one, so an unused Connector takes up no context window.
