About

Otter.ai keeps a speaker-labelled transcript of each conversation you recorded with it, from Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet calls to in-person meetings on the mobile app, plus those colleagues in your Otter workspace shared with you. Search runs across all of it, however old, and a match comes back as the full transcript, so a thread can quote what was said on a call rather than someone's memory of it.

Otter offers the server on every plan, free Basic included, but Basic keeps only your 25 most recent conversations, which caps what can be searched. Pro is $8.33 a user a month billed annually.

Click Add and sign in when Otter's window opens. Otter has no public API key, so this is the only way to connect.

Frequently asked questions

What is a Connector?
A Connector is a remote MCP server that a third party runs and Marvin Labs knows how to reach. Marvin Labs supplies the endpoint and the setup; you bring your own Otter.ai account. Once added, AI Analyst Chat and Deep Research Agents call its tools when a question needs them, and the answer shows which tool was called and what it returned.
Does the Otter.ai Connector require authentication?
Yes. Adding Otter.ai opens its sign-in window, where you approve access with your own Otter.ai account. Marvin Labs never sees your password; Otter.ai issues a token you can revoke on its side at any time.
Does Otter.ai change how financial data is sourced?
No. When a question can be answered from the filings, earnings calls, and press releases Marvin Labs ingests through Automated Data Import, it answers from those. Otter.ai is used only when a question needs data those documents do not carry, and the answer attributes that output to it.
Where is Otter.ai available?
In both AI Analyst Chat and Deep Research Agents. Its tools stay out of the model's context until a request needs one, so an unused Connector takes up no context window.
