Fireflies.ai
Meeting transcripts, summaries and action items

About
Fireflies.ai records and transcribes meetings on Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and more than ten other platforms, as well as uploaded files. Connected, it gives a thread your transcripts with their summaries, action items and soundbites, and search across them, so the commitment a CFO made on a call, or what an expert said about a supplier, is there to quote.
Some of what it can do changes things in Fireflies: sharing a meeting, renaming one, revoking someone's access. Those act on your account as if you had done them in the app.
Any Fireflies account can connect, the free one too, within its API limits: 500 requests a day on Free, 5,000 on Pro. Click Add and sign in when Fireflies' window opens. To use an API key instead, add the server by hand with the key as a bearer token in the Authorization header.

Frequently asked questions
- What is a Connector?
- A Connector is a remote MCP server that a third party runs and Marvin Labs knows how to reach. Marvin Labs supplies the endpoint and the setup; you bring your own Fireflies.ai account. Once added, AI Analyst Chat and Deep Research Agents call its tools when a question needs them, and the answer shows which tool was called and what it returned.
- Does the Fireflies.ai Connector require authentication?
- Yes. Adding Fireflies.ai opens its sign-in window, where you approve access with your own Fireflies.ai account. Marvin Labs never sees your password; Fireflies.ai issues a token you can revoke on its side at any time.
- Does Fireflies.ai change how financial data is sourced?
- No. When a question can be answered from the filings, earnings calls, and press releases Marvin Labs ingests through Automated Data Import, it answers from those. Fireflies.ai is used only when a question needs data those documents do not carry, and the answer attributes that output to it.
- Where is Fireflies.ai available?
- In both AI Analyst Chat and Deep Research Agents. Its tools stay out of the model's context until a request needs one, so an unused Connector takes up no context window.
