About
Avoma records meetings on Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and GoToMeeting, and calls placed through Aircall, Dialpad, RingCentral and Zoom Phone. You get timestamped, speaker-labelled transcripts, notes with key points, decisions and action items, and meeting outcomes and scorecards. It can also set a meeting's outcome, purpose or privacy.
The scope you grant when connecting, your own meetings or your organisation's, decides what it sees, and the limited scopes leave out private meetings. You need an Organization plan ($24 a recorder seat a month billed annually), Enterprise, or the API Access add-on; Startup alone does not qualify. Avoma drops the connection after 30 days without use, and you sign in again to restore it.

- What is a Connector?
- A Connector is a remote MCP server that a third party runs and Marvin Labs knows how to reach. Marvin Labs supplies the endpoint and the setup; you bring your own Avoma account. Once added, AI Analyst Chat and Deep Research Agents call its tools when a question needs them, and the answer shows which tool was called and what it returned.
- Does the Avoma Connector require authentication?
- Yes. Adding Avoma opens its sign-in window, where you approve access with your own Avoma account. Marvin Labs never sees your password; Avoma issues a token you can revoke on its side at any time.
- Does Avoma change how financial data is sourced?
- No. When a question can be answered from the filings, earnings calls, and press releases Marvin Labs ingests through Automated Data Import, it answers from those. Avoma is used only when a question needs data those documents do not carry, and the answer attributes that output to it.
- Where is Avoma available?
- In both AI Analyst Chat and Deep Research Agents. Its tools stay out of the model's context until a request needs one, so an unused Connector takes up no context window.
