It is the reference series for an energy name's operating environment, from the agency the industry itself cites.

- A Connector is an MCP server that Marvin Labs runs and authenticates. There is no URL to paste and no key to find: EIA is on for your account unless you turn it off. AI Analyst Chat and Deep Research Agents call its tools when a question needs them, and the answer shows which tool was called and what it returned.
- Does the EIA Connector require authentication?
- No. Marvin Labs holds the EIA credentials and signs every request, so there is nothing to set up. You can add your own EIA key under Connectors in settings to get your own rate limit instead of the shared one. It does not change which data the Connector returns.
- Does EIA change how financial data is sourced?
- No. When a question can be answered from the filings, earnings calls, and press releases Marvin Labs ingests through Automated Data Import, it answers from those. EIA is used only when a question needs data those documents do not carry, and the answer attributes that output to it.
- Where is EIA available?
