TipRanks aggregates sell-side analyst consensus and price targets, its own Smart Score, bull and bear summaries, hedge fund, insider and politician trades, technicals such as RSI and moving averages, and earnings and dividend history, plus your own TipRanks portfolios if you allow it. It answers what the street thinks of a name and who is trading it, with each analyst's track record beside the call. Options data is delayed about 15 minutes, and TipRanks publishes this for information, not as advice.

- What is a Connector?
- A Connector is a remote MCP server that a third party runs and Marvin Labs knows how to reach. Marvin Labs supplies the endpoint and the setup; you bring your own TipRanks account. Once added, AI Analyst Chat and Deep Research Agents call its tools when a question needs them, and the answer shows which tool was called and what it returned.
- Does the TipRanks Connector require authentication?
- Yes. Adding TipRanks opens its sign-in window, where you approve access with your own TipRanks account. Marvin Labs never sees your password; TipRanks issues a token you can revoke on its side at any time.
- Does TipRanks change how financial data is sourced?
- No. When a question can be answered from the filings, earnings calls, and press releases Marvin Labs ingests through Automated Data Import, it answers from those. TipRanks is used only when a question needs data those documents do not carry, and the answer attributes that output to it.
- Where is TipRanks available?
- In both AI Analyst Chat and Deep Research Agents. Its tools stay out of the model's context until a request needs one, so an unused Connector takes up no context window.
