About
Notion's data is your own: the meeting notes, memos and coverage databases your team already keeps there. A question can be answered from what you have already written, and the answer filed back into the workspace. The connection acts with your full Notion permissions, everything you can reach and nothing you cannot, and workspace owners see and revoke MCP connections under Settings, then Connections.
You need a Notion account. Click Add and sign in when the window opens. There is no API key to find.

- What is a Connector?
- A Connector is a remote MCP server that a third party runs and Marvin Labs knows how to reach. Marvin Labs supplies the endpoint and the setup; you bring your own Notion account. Once added, AI Analyst Chat and Deep Research Agents call its tools when a question needs them, and the answer shows which tool was called and what it returned.
- Does the Notion Connector require authentication?
- Yes. Adding Notion opens its sign-in window, where you approve access with your own Notion account. Marvin Labs never sees your password; Notion issues a token you can revoke on its side at any time.
- Does Notion change how financial data is sourced?
- No. When a question can be answered from the filings, earnings calls, and press releases Marvin Labs ingests through Automated Data Import, it answers from those. Notion is used only when a question needs data those documents do not carry, and the answer attributes that output to it.
- Where is Notion available?
- In both AI Analyst Chat and Deep Research Agents. Its tools stay out of the model's context until a request needs one, so an unused Connector takes up no context window.
