About

S&P Global's Kensho LLM-ready API carries S&P Capital IQ Financials, market data, business relationships, earnings call transcripts, company intelligence and M&A transactions. It is Capital IQ's figures, cited, for the comparisons and transaction histories a thread would otherwise assemble from filings.

Access is requested through S&P Global Marketplace and granted by S&P Global; it is not self-served. With an entitled account, click Add and sign in when the window opens.

Frequently asked questions

What is a Connector?
A Connector is a remote MCP server that a third party runs and Marvin Labs knows how to reach. Marvin Labs supplies the endpoint and the setup; you bring your own S&P Global account. Once added, AI Analyst Chat and Deep Research Agents call its tools when a question needs them, and the answer shows which tool was called and what it returned.
Does the S&P Global Connector require authentication?
Yes. Adding S&P Global opens its sign-in window, where you approve access with your own S&P Global account. Marvin Labs never sees your password; S&P Global issues a token you can revoke on its side at any time.
Does S&P Global change how financial data is sourced?
No. When a question can be answered from the filings, earnings calls, and press releases Marvin Labs ingests through Automated Data Import, it answers from those. S&P Global is used only when a question needs data those documents do not carry, and the answer attributes that output to it.
Where is S&P Global available?
In both AI Analyst Chat and Deep Research Agents. Its tools stay out of the model's context until a request needs one, so an unused Connector takes up no context window.
