About
PitchBook covers private and public capital markets: profiles of more than 8.5 million private companies, 2.8 million deals, 597,000 investors and 154,000 funds, with the people and limited partners behind them. It is the part of a company's story that public filings leave out: who funded it, at what valuation, and who else those investors back. Some third-party data licensed into the PitchBook platform is excluded from the connector.
You need a seat-based, unlimited or trial PitchBook licence with single sign-on credentials. Click Add and sign in when the window opens.

Frequently asked questions
- What is a Connector?
- A Connector is a remote MCP server that a third party runs and Marvin Labs knows how to reach. Marvin Labs supplies the endpoint and the setup; you bring your own PitchBook account. Once added, AI Analyst Chat and Deep Research Agents call its tools when a question needs them, and the answer shows which tool was called and what it returned.
- Does the PitchBook Connector require authentication?
- Yes. Adding PitchBook opens its sign-in window, where you approve access with your own PitchBook account. Marvin Labs never sees your password; PitchBook issues a token you can revoke on its side at any time.
- Does PitchBook change how financial data is sourced?
- No. When a question can be answered from the filings, earnings calls, and press releases Marvin Labs ingests through Automated Data Import, it answers from those. PitchBook is used only when a question needs data those documents do not carry, and the answer attributes that output to it.
- Where is PitchBook available?
- In both AI Analyst Chat and Deep Research Agents. Its tools stay out of the model's context until a request needs one, so an unused Connector takes up no context window.
