About
FactSet's content sets are the institutional standard: fundamentals, consensus estimates, global prices, ownership, mergers and acquisitions, people, calendar events, entity reference, geographic revenue and supply chain. It is where a consensus estimate or an ownership table comes from when it has to match what the desk uses. What you can read follows your FactSet entitlements, set by set.
You need a FactSet subscription with API access to the content you want. Click Add and sign in when the window opens.

Frequently asked questions
- What is a Connector?
- A Connector is a remote MCP server that a third party runs and Marvin Labs knows how to reach. Marvin Labs supplies the endpoint and the setup; you bring your own FactSet account. Once added, AI Analyst Chat and Deep Research Agents call its tools when a question needs them, and the answer shows which tool was called and what it returned.
- Does the FactSet Connector require authentication?
- Yes. Adding FactSet opens its sign-in window, where you approve access with your own FactSet account. Marvin Labs never sees your password; FactSet issues a token you can revoke on its side at any time.
- Does FactSet change how financial data is sourced?
- No. When a question can be answered from the filings, earnings calls, and press releases Marvin Labs ingests through Automated Data Import, it answers from those. FactSet is used only when a question needs data those documents do not carry, and the answer attributes that output to it.
- Where is FactSet available?
- In both AI Analyst Chat and Deep Research Agents. Its tools stay out of the model's context until a request needs one, so an unused Connector takes up no context window.
