About

AlphaSights' data is the transcripts of the expert calls you commissioned, each with an AI call summary and a project summary that updates after every call, plus AlphaNow, a library of company one-pagers and investor-led call transcripts. It lets a thesis be tested against the experts you already paid to talk to. Scope is your own private library and whatever your plan includes of AlphaNow, not the whole network. AlphaSights publishes no MCP documentation; the server was verified to answer.

Frequently asked questions

What is a Connector?
A Connector is a remote MCP server that a third party runs and Marvin Labs knows how to reach. Marvin Labs supplies the endpoint and the setup; you bring your own AlphaSights account. Once added, AI Analyst Chat and Deep Research Agents call its tools when a question needs them, and the answer shows which tool was called and what it returned.
Does the AlphaSights Connector require authentication?
Yes. Adding AlphaSights opens its sign-in window, where you approve access with your own AlphaSights account. Marvin Labs never sees your password; AlphaSights issues a token you can revoke on its side at any time.
Does AlphaSights change how financial data is sourced?
No. When a question can be answered from the filings, earnings calls, and press releases Marvin Labs ingests through Automated Data Import, it answers from those. AlphaSights is used only when a question needs data those documents do not carry, and the answer attributes that output to it.
Where is AlphaSights available?
In both AI Analyst Chat and Deep Research Agents. Its tools stay out of the model's context until a request needs one, so an unused Connector takes up no context window.
