Consumer Cyclical
Consumer cyclical stocks are also known as consumer discretionary stocks. These stocks are tied to the economy and include companies that sell goods and services that are considered non-essential. Consumer cyclical stocks tend to be more sensitive to economic cycles, meaning they are more likely to rise when the economy is doing well and fall when the economy is doing poorly. They include retail stores, automotive and auto-parts manufacturers, and businesses related to leisure activities (restaurants, lodging, entertainment).
